July 24, 2009: DEL Annual Phillies game.
May 8, 2009: The Fourth Annual Accelerated MBA Cocktail Reception is held at The Union League of Philadelphia. Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Fred Barnett was the guest speaker.
April 24, 2009: the DEL holds its Annual Awards Ceremony. 17 undergraduate students are inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda. The annual Richard H. Galup Leadership Award, and the Facilitator of the Year Awards are also presented.
November 2008: The Division of Extended Learning participates in the University’s annual food drive. All items are donated to St. Malachy Parish located at 1429 North 11th Street in Philadelphia, PA.
October 26, 2008: Students, family and friends, and administrators, from the Division of Extended Learning participate in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk. Participants walk three miles through the campus of Bucks County Community College and Tyler State Park.
May 16, 2008: The Division of Extended Learning’s annual Phillies game outing attracts 112 students, friends & family.
May 2, 2008: the Division of Extended Learning inducts 15 students into honors students into Alpha Sigma Lambda, a national honors society for adult students. During this ceremony, the annual Richard Gallup MBA Leadership Award is presented.
April 18, 2008: Ann Lanahan Gill, Senior Vice President of Wachovia Bank, addresses students, facilitators and alumni at the third annual MBA alumni cocktail reception held at the Union League of Philadelphia.
March 12, 2008: The first networking event for accelerated students and alumni is hosted by Career Services, Alumni Office and the Division of Extended Learning. Local employers attending the event include Crown Holdings, Internal Revenue Service, and a representative from the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
February 29, 2008: the Woodhaven Student Services Committee organizes a Happy Hour for accelerated students. The event is attended by over seventy people.
