Holy Family University MBA Program
MBA Accelerated Hybrid Format – Now Available in Quakertown!
Although the MBA is one of the most recognizable advanced degrees in business, all MBA programs do not look alike. It is important that you find the right program for you. Our MBA program is built around the idea that learning should be different from imitating. We want to provide courses that are both interesting and relevant to adult students. We do this with classes that continually ask you to combine your work experience with the textbook learning. Students and employers have found this very beneficial, and assignments and projects completed by MBA students have been implemented at their workplace and published in professional journals. The best candidates for the MBA program are those managers who are eager to become actively engaged in the learning process through critical reflection, oral and written communication, and a rigorous curiosity.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited four-year institution
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale (applicants with a grade point average under 3.0 may be required to take the GMAT)

- Demonstrated competency through undergraduate coursework, related work experiences, standardized tests, or other proof of knowledge, in financial & managerial accounting, finance, economics, business statistics, and marketing. Students lacking this competency will be required to take undergraduate courses.
- At the discretion of the MBA Admissions Committee, candidates may be invited for a personal interview.
The MBA at Holy Family University includes ten courses (30 credits) covering the necessary content areas expected of the MBA graduate. Students may choose to add a concentration in finance, health care administration or human resources management. Optional concentrations consist of 3 three-credit courses. The program is open to those currently working in business, with three years of progressive managerial experience. This experience will be essential for success in the accelerated format. Each MBA class will typically meet once a week, for eight weeks.
This format allows students to assume more responsibility in the learning process. Facilitators work with students during each class to help them build connections between theory and practice. The MBA program will be writing and project intensive, requiring students to move beyond summary to create original and applicable work.

“Facilitators bring their real world experience to the program. As adult learners, the integration of current issues and events into the curriculum keeps it pertinent and provides a valuable educational experience.”- Bea Leyden, Frankford Hospital
